YOUTH INSTRUCTOR

The Youth Instructor is responsible for supervising school-age youth and providing mentoring, enrichment activities, leadership, life skill training, assistance with homework and special projects. This person is responsible for the direct supervision of students, as well as planning, clearly and timely communicating standards, achievements and deficiencies to students and parents. The Youth Instructor will teach good study habits while monitoring and assessing progress that will result in students achieving success. In addition, this person will assist the staff in other areas of need or otherwise determined by the Program Manager.

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

The Development Director will oversee all aspects of fundraising, grant writing, marketing and communication initiatives for the organization. Reporting to the Executive Deputy Director, this position leads the development team and collaborates with senior staff to create and maintain strategic funding plans, maintain donor relationships, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Performs other related duties as required.

FINANCE DIRECTOR

The Finance Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all finance, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, maintaining fiscal record, preparation of financial analysis of operations, grant budgets and administration. This position involves financial planning, managing financial risks, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. The Finance Director will work closely with the Executive Deputy Director and the Board of Directors to ensure the organization’s financial health and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

The Finance Director will ensure that JaxPAL has the systems and procedures in place to support effective program implementation and audits. The Finance Director will work closely with the program directors and their staff, not only to educate them regarding JaxPAL’s finance and accounting procedures, but also to explore how the finance function can support program operations, in addition, the Finance Director will partner with senior management to enhance and better integrate finance, HR, and purchasing functions.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Working closely with the Operations Director, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and performing various responsibilities associated with the maintenance of the JaxPAL facilities, equipment and grounds.
