Our Story

Our History

JaxPAL started in the 1960s with one officer who envisioned using athletics to change the trajectory of children’s lives. From this simple idea, the Police Athletic League of Jacksonville, Inc. (JaxPAL) began, and in 1972 was officially established.

Our Mission

The Police Athletic League of Jacksonville enriches the lives of children by creating positive relationships between law enforcement officers and the youth of our community through education, athletic, outreach, and teen leadership programs.

Our Unique Approach
